The popular survey website, SurveyHead, offers surveys on a wide range of products and services. Payment is via PayPal and with a $25 threshold. While you are unlikely to qualify for all, panelists are shown the percentage chance of being accepted before starting. Survey invitations are very frequent, almost daily. SurveyHead offers $5 to new members for signing up. After registering surveys are offered immediately.



SurveySavvy is one of the most liked and best known names in online surveys.

Once you have completed the in-depth profile you should receive surveys fairly regularly, usually several per month. Each pays typically $1-3. There is an excellent, well-paid, referral scheme which can easily boost your earnings. Payment is by cheque with no payout threshold.



PineCone conduct research principally on product related issues. Surveys are categorised into those on home or product. Home surveys, which are unpaid are very short and serve as means of checking suitability for the paid product surveys. These pay a flat rate of £4 per survey or can be redeemed in a variety of vouchers. PineCone do not have a payout limit but panelists should not expect more than a couple of invitations a month.



Despite the name, American Consumer Opinion is open to UK residents. The vast majority of surveys pay between $2 and $25. While specialising in online surveys, ACOP also conduct phone surveys and online focus groups. Surveys are short, typically taking 10 minutes. Members should expect about 1-3 surveys per month. There is also a monthly cash prize draw for all members, whether you have submitted surveys or not.



A big international name in paid online surveys, Ciao have merged with goZing.com in the UK. Surveys pay up to £6.00 each but the vast majority pay less than £1.00. Payment is by bank transfer. The referral reward scheme pays £0.50 for each referral. A number of members have commented on continually getting screened out and small rewards for the time involved.



US based. Payment is by PayPal. There is a referral programme but it is open only to “VIP” members. Brand Institute specialises in medical and healthcare market research but is open to new members not working in the industry. Pays well, typically $5-10 per survey and more for medical professionals. Expect a couple of surveys a month on average.



A big name in international market research, Global Test Market offers surveys on a diverse range of topics from movies to current events. Each completed survey pays 50 to 1000 market points with 1000 needed for the $50 payout by cheque. There have been reports of members’ accounts being frozen with the company stating fraudulent answers had been given. Survey invitations are usually emailed regularly, approx 2-3 per week.



UK owned, Business Opinions is an online market research community site. Apart from surveys, members can contribute to the forum for rewards. Not all surveys pay cash. For ones that do pay, each point is worth 1 pence. Surveys typically pay £0.10-£1. Once you have reached 2000 credit points (£20) you are able to cash your points in for cash.

OnePoll is one of the UK’s fastest growing online market research companies.

Cash surveys pay between 10p and £1 per survey, and cash prizes up to £1,000. The payout threshold is set at £40. This can be received by PayPal, cheque or bank transfer using BACS. Other prizes include gift vouchers, spa treatments and electrical goods. New members receive £2.50 for signing up.



 

OpinionBar is an international market research company that has worked with names like Heineken, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Nike, eBay, UNICEF and Yahoo. As well as surveys members may be asked to test products at home and review new websites and advertisements. Each completed survey pays between $1 and $10 which can be cashed or donated to charity.



One of the fastest growing and most liked paid survey sites in the UK, Panelbase offers surveys on a variety of marketing and topical issues and pays cash for all surveys. With a low payout threshold of £10, there is a choice of payment method; cheque, bank transfer or vouchers. Customer service is good and fast. New members receive £3 for registering. Expect several survey invitations per month.



 

Home of Research offers online surveys, phone surveys and focus groups. Surveys pay up to £5.00 or 500 points. Focus groups can pay up to £30. The payout threshold is set at £20 and is in the form of a posted cheque. The referral program pays £1 for each. Members should expect several survey invitations per month.




As the website shows, Headbox is aimed at a young audience, 16-25 year-olds, but accepts new members over that age. The main focus is branding. Offering more than just surveys, members can get involved and interact with a variety of marketing projects. Rewards vary with cash rewards being generous, typically £6-£25 per hour. Other incentives include Amazon vouchers, concert tickets, gadgets and gifts.
