Getting Started

Unlike most ways of making money on the internet, doing surveys is a pretty straight forward process.

The 3 simple steps to getting started:

1. Select a survey from the list

Read the reviews and choose the sites that interest you. Factors to consider could be; how often survey invitations are sent, earnings potential, survey topics. The more sites you join the more surveys you will be sent.

2. Register

This is an important part of the process. All survey sites need detailed info about members to send the relevant surveys so make sure you complete your profile as fully as possible. Some just ask a few basic questions such as income, age and interests. Others have very precise questionnaires, each on a separate area. The more information you give the more chance you have of being sent surveys.

3. Check your email

Once you have registered and completed your profile check your email regularly for invitations to participate in a survey. Make sure your email junk filters are set low as emails can easily end up in junk mail. For this reason it is best to have a separate email account/address just for surveys. You can get one easily (and for free!) at googlemail.com or hotmail.com. While you don’t have to respond to every survey many market research companies appreciate a prompt response and will come to regard you as a valuable member.
